Wooden products from Slovenia

In a television show called Fokus they spoke about handmade wooden products locally here in Slovenia. Word was also about our Slovene wood which ends up mostly in Austria and then we are buying back more expensive half products as all our wood industry in Slovenia is dead.

So it is nice to see that handmade wooden products are more and more popular here. and there are quite a few people sho started their personal bussines doing it. They spoke to four people and showed their products.

Well they are actually all my potential customers so it is also good news for me that this type of handcraft is gaining in popularity. I also love doing wooden products and this is how I came to here where I am now offering Saburrtooth, Orbicut, Kirjes and Arbortech products as they were not available here before. Well except Arbortech. But they all fit nicely together and form one complete tool line for creating wood products efficiently.

Saburrtooth was the first one of the before mentioned brands I came in constact with. And it actually really made a huge difference for my way of working. Difference compared to other tools you can get in hardware stores is just unbeliveable. And to my surprise Saburrtooth is still quite unknown in Europe or prices are much higher than they should be. One example is Czech republic where usually things would be cheaper than here in Slovenia.

Similar tools to Saburrtooth carving discs are Kutzall and King Arthur's Holley Galahand - and interestingly enough, they are all made in USA. There is also a cheaper version made by WoCaTec, but those are in a different quality class. Seams like Europe is behind on this technology. But there is an interesting product range being produced in our neighbour country - Croatia, called Roto Kruna. I have decided for Saburrtooth as they offer a really wide range of products and are a leading player in this industry field.
